Welcome to Melody’s Antique ‘M’ Porium, your go-to destination for timeless treasures in the heart of Akron, OH. Located at 1109 Grant St., our store is a haven for antique enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone seeking to add a touch of vintage charm to their spaces.
At Melody’s Antique ‘M’ Porium, we believe every item has a story to tell. Whether you’re searching for a rare gem to complete your collection, a unique gift, or an inspiring piece to transform your home, we have something special for everyone.
After 38 years as a dedicated cardiac nurse, I followed a long-held passion and opened the doors to a different kind of calling—one rooted in history, beauty, and timeless treasures. Melody’s Antique ‘M’ Porium was created from a deep love of antiques and a desire to preserve and share the stories they carry.

Our shop is thoughtfully arranged into uniquely themed rooms, each designed to reflect a different era or style. As you wander from space to space, you’ll discover antiques, vintage pieces, furniture, and collectibles presented in a way that brings their history to life. Every room offers its own experience—inviting you to slow down, explore, and connect with the past in a meaningful way.
The setting itself is part of the story. Housed within a building rich in history, the character of the space adds depth and authenticity to everything within it. There is something special about placing timeless pieces in a place that has its own legacy—where the past is not only displayed, but truly felt.
Whether you are a seasoned collector, a lover of vintage charm, or simply someone who appreciates the romance of days gone by, you will find something meaningful here. We hope that each visit feels less like shopping and more like stepping into another time—where every corner holds a story waiting to be discovered.
